Hi Guys

Got a quick question about my space marine army list. I am busy building a command squad. The codex states that the command squad consists of 4 veterans and 1 apothecary. Can I add more veterans to the command squad? The codex does not state how many points it costs for each additional veteran in the command squad.

Yo! :D Your question will get a better answer on a forum like DakkaDakka. Or the warhammer facebook group. I play marines myself but it's spacewolves so they use diferent profiles.

Well I am making a post back here. I had a couple games with the full rule book. The question of list building came up again. I know the source book will go in detail on points, but perhaps a basic chart showing the different tires of armies and needed elements would be nice. Sort of like the 40k's Force org charts, Patrol is minimum a HQ and 1 Troop, Battalion in 2 Hq's and 3 Troops. No points but something to help people with determining game size, potential purchases, and later expansion of their collection.

Hello, I finally was able to get a few games in of Albedo and had my friends write down a list of clarifications so here we go!

Cover - Is cover taken into account only when a model is in Base contact with a set piece?

Activation - When the opposing sides have the same number of units activating for example EDF has two units on initiative 1 and ILR has two units on initiative 1. The players draw a card and the highest d10 result goes first. Is the activation order AABB or ABAB (A being the winner of the face to face flip test)

Machine Gun Teams - Is the loader just a cheer leader to be a bullet sponge or can they Do something to help the LMG user?

Machine gun move and fire - since the Lmg's are Light guns we have been treeting them as like SAW. A model can move. And the next activation fire. Is that the right way to use it?

Order cards- what is the M for on the shift line?

GAMER Stat - Leader column. Are those stats for the Absolute leader of the force. (The guy who can swap there dice around) or is it the Fire team leader. LMG team, Gunner and Loader, Gunner is the Leader for that team and uses the Leader column.

Leader abilities - In the beta rules there is no section talking about the Leader Switching dice and ablities. We had to look at the lets play from beasts of war to get any idea of how it works.

Eesh oh man. It would be interesting to see some birds. Wolves would be my second choice but they is a kickstarter goal. Heck maybe some Horses. Maybe a diferent dog breed like Border collie or German Shepard.

Yep, lovely figures. Which colours did you use? Just about to start my EDF.

GW colors with some valejo

Green - Death world forest - camo shade wash
Tans - Zandri Dust - Agrax earth shade wash
Shoes -doombull brown
 Metal - Lead Belcher
Fox red is a mix of Red , orange , and valejo flat earth followed by a brown wash and light orange dry brush.

So little story here. I have a couple friends with Fox toons and i used them in this team. Travis a good friend of mine and he's leading this team with his toon. Being a star ship trooper buff the squad is named The Scruff Necks, a play on Rough Necks. The Green fox in the squad was tired of being confused with her brother and got her fur dyed so that there was no confusion (non cannon i'm sure). These models are a treat to put together. Next up the ILR squad.
