Sorry, I had to look up “Lagomorph”!

My reading of the comic is that diversity is the norm.  But that wouldn’t stop mono species colonies from existing...

Hi all,

a short sharp poll that I’ll use to guide my writing of the campaign book.

Please feel free to expand in comments underneath or add poll options.

Cheers,

Mike

Great to see more of the background stories coming.  I especially like the ones that aren’t specifically military!

Hi gang,

Based on the feedback you’ve provided so far, Buck has updated the cards, and the revised deck is now in the downloads section...

Happy printing!

Hi everyone,

Now that the kickstarter has wound up, we’re starting to move on with the next stage of the project, which is getting the rules, sourcebook and campaign book set.  As that process runs along, the NET will start getting updated.  At which point, you’ll be added to the access list.  Your patience is appreciated... :)

That’s a great question.  With a long and complex answer.

I really see these artefacts as fulfilling three functions.

1. They add depth and scale to a milieu in which we are creating new legends.
2. They start discussion... even the mythical creator weighed in on this one.
3. They’ll be part of the RPG setting - my goal is to have all the campaign books useful for RPG gamers as well as miniature gaming enthusiasts.

Hkiya.

Chris is the team architect, so I should really let him answer this, but here’s my tuppence hapenny.

Imperial vs. Metric - use what ever you’re comfortable with.  Just remember that the scale is 1/56th full size.
Floor height - I’m going to say 6 cm.
Recommendations for scenery inspiration...

Well, that’s a mile wide and an inch long, really.  When I’m looking at designs, I try to think about what materials would be readily available, and what would be workable in a practical sense.... so don’t forget the toilet!

Planets in Albedo are supposed to be pretty self sufficient, so a jungle planet might have lots of bamboo and wood, and a water world might have lots of steel and rust on floating buildings.  Really your imagination is key here.  I’d say pick a planet, name it and get to work!  The beauty is that, because the game is so young, you are helping set the standard.

Let us know how you get on, and I do like that building.

Hi all,

Sadly, the Dachshund head got the nod this time.  Very annoying for a number of reasons.  The only place your vote counts at the moment is on the web poll site linked from FB.  In the future, I’d prefer to run the poll here...

Cheers,

Mike

General Discussion / Monthly head casting poll
« on: November 07, 2018, 02:22:00 AM »
Hi all,

every month, we're planning to release a new species head - nominations are currently open for December...

so if you could suggest:

1.  A species head that's not in the collection so far
2. A hat style that's not yet covered..

We'll collect all the ideas and put them in the bucket.

Begin!

Mike
